Pricing on DrawMarket is fixed in USD. The product price includes a 5% platform service fee (borne by the seller). After entering the product price, the actual income is automatically displayed (Actual Income = Product Price × 95%).

Standard Pricing Methods

Overseas buyers are accustomed to transparent tiered pricing. A clear price list can significantly reduce the communication cost of "pre-purchase inquiries." You can determine your price list using the following methods, then set corresponding prices based on the different [Usage Licenses].

① Reference market prices: Refer to the pricing ranges of other artists in the same category and on other platforms.
② Work-hour calculation: Base Price = Hourly Rate × Estimated Work Hours + Complexity Surcharge.

Usage License Pricing Ranges

① Personal Use: For personal, non-commercial, non-profit use only. Pricing range: Base Price

Scope of rights:

1. Right of reproduction (electronic reproduction only) — Allows the buyer to reproduce and make copies of the work in electronic form only, including downloading, uploading, and backing up the work;
2. Right to distribute the work on the Internet — Allows the buyer to distribute the work through channels such as their personal profile and social media platforms;
3. Right of compilation — Allows the buyer to compile the work together with other works.

② Commercial Use: Can be used for profit-generating videos/livestreams, corporate promotion, and other digital content. Pricing range: Base Price +50% to 100%

Scope of rights: Includes 1–3 above, plus 4–8.

4. Right to profit (for commercial purposes) — Allows the buyer to use the work for commercial activities and purposes, including distributing the original for commercial purposes;
5. Right to reproduce the work (not limited to electronic reproduction) — Allows the buyer to reproduce the work in physical or other forms (please note that for personal use, the number of reproduced works should not exceed 20 copies);
6. Right of adaptation (creation) — Allows the buyer to use the work to create works (including derivative works), or to commission others to create derivative works using the work;
7. Right of adaptation (modification) — Allows the buyer to modify the work;
8. Right of transfer — Allows the buyer to transfer and assign the license they hold over the work to a third party. After the transfer, the buyer will no longer hold the transferred rights.

③ Commercial Buyout: Allows the production and sale of merchandise, granting the broadest usage license. Pricing range: Base Price +200% to 300%

Scope of rights: Includes 1–8 above, plus 9.

9. Buyout right — The law stipulates the seller's exclusive copyright. The seller (i.e., the copyright owner) promises the buyer that they will no longer display the work, and will not sell, trade, or otherwise commercialize the work.

Platform Service Fee

DrawMarket charges a 5% platform service fee (included in the product price and borne by the seller). The platform service fee covers payment security, making your cross-border transactions safer.
