Commission Add-ons Pricing is Now Live! Make Your Price List Crystal Clear

May 20, 2026

Listing detail page just got an update! Artists can now set up an add-ons pricing list based on licensing scope and additional options when uploading their commission listing — no more writing lengthy explanations in the description.

International buyers (especially in Western markets) prefer transparent, tiered pricing. A clear price list significantly reduces pre-order inquiries and back-and-forth messages. This guide explains how to set up your add-ons pricing list so buyers can understand everything at a glance!

1. Where to Find the Feature

Log in to Draw Market → Profile Avatar → My Commission → Edit Listing / New Commission. Below the base price settings, you will find the add-ons pricing list. Set your add-on conditions according to your own Terms of Service. There are two main categories:  ① Artwork license scope  ② Add-ons (multi-select).

There are two pricing formats: Base Price × Multiplier, or Base Price + Fixed Amount

2. How to Set Up Add-ons

1. Artwork license scope

The following are definitions for each license type (see User Agreement for full details), along with suggested pricing ranges for reference.

① Personal Use: For personal, non-commercial, non-profit use only. Pricing: Base Price

Rights included:

1. Reproduction Right (Electronic Only) — Allows the buyer to reproduce and make copies of the commissioned work in electronic form only, including downloading, uploading, and backing up the work;
2. Online Distribution Right — Allows the buyer to distribute the work on their personal homepage, social media platforms, and similar channels;
3. Compilation Right — Allows the buyer to compile the work together with other works.

② Commercial Use: For use in monetized videos/streams, corporate promotions, and other digital content. Pricing: Base Price + 50% ~ 100%

A commercial use licence will include the rights in (1) – (6) above, and Users can agree on whether they would like to expand the scope to include (7) or (8), or any other rights as agreed between them.

⚠️Note: The remaining rights, i.e., (4) – (8) are not included in a personal use licence but Buyers and Sellers can agree if they want to expand the scope of licence granted.

4. Commercial Exploitation Right — Allows the buyer to use the work for commercial activities and purposes, including distributing the original for commercial use;
5. Reproduction Right (Not Limited to Electronic) — Allows the buyer to reproduce the work in physical or other forms (Note: copies must not exceed 20 for personal use);
6. Adaptation Right (Creation) — Allows the buyer to create derivative works based on the commissioned work, or commission others to do so;
7. Adaptation Right (Modification) — Allows the buyer to modify the commissioned work;
8. Transfer Right — Allows the buyer to transfer and assign their licensed rights to a third party; the buyer will no longer hold the transferred rights after the transfer.

③ Commercial Buyout: Allows the production and sale of merchandise; grants the broadest possible usage rights. Pricing: Base Price + 200% ~ 300%

Rights included: All of the above (1–8), plus 9:

9. Buyout Right — The seller’s exclusive copyright is protected by law. The seller (i.e., copyright holder) commits to the buyer that they will no longer display the work and will not sell, trade, or otherwise commercialize it.

⚠️Note: Both parties should negotiate the specific details of rights transfer or licensing based on the purpose and intended use of the commission. Communication and confirmation can be done via the in-platform IM messaging system. Sellers may also supplement terms in the listing description.

2. Add-ons (multi-select)

Common Add-ons include:

  • Additional complexity (e.g., extra outfits, complex scenes, props & accessories, extra expressions, etc.)
  • Rush delivery or priority slot

Buyers can add up to 10 units per add-on option.

If Commercial Use or Commercial Buyout license add-ons are selected, the corresponding value-added service prices will be automatically calculated and added to the total. See the example below:

Base price: $100, Commercial Use × 1.5, Commercial Buyout × 2. If Extra Outfit ($50) × 1 is added: Total = ($100 + $50) × 1.5 = $225

4. Guidelines & Pricing Best Practices

1. Be specific and clear with pricing. Avoid vague terms (e.g., “maybe”, “depends”) and arbitrary changes. Do not split the base price into multiple forced add-ons.

2. All prices must be listed in USD ($). Keep pricing reasonable — add-on markups should not be disproportionately high relative to the base price, so as not to deter buyers.

3. Keep add-on names concise and unambiguous. Additional details can be added in the listing description. Do not duplicate license scope information or include irrelevant content.

4. Buyers can add a maximum quantity of 10 per add-on option.
