Official Guide: How to Become a Draw Market Artist in 2026!
Draw Market’s International Artist Beta Test has officially concluded! In just two months, over 700 International artists joined the platform, and we’re super happy to see many of them already receiving orders from China and buyers worldwide. Here’s everything you need to know about the official ways to become a Draw Market Artist in 2026.
There are now three official ways to join👇If you are already a beta verified artist, you do not need to apply again.
1.Sign Up as Artist and Get Verified (Fast Track)
Go to the “Become an Artist” page, click Register Now, and you’re in. You can immediately start uploading artworks, open your shop, and begin taking commissions.
Once you sign up, you’ll see a banner on your profile: “How to become a verified artist”.
To apply for official verification, simply complete these 4 basic tasks:
- Set up your avatar, username, bio, profile link, social links, and payout account
- Publish at least 1 commission and upload at least 10 artworks
- Gain 3 followers
- Share your Draw Market profile on social media (X or Facebook)
After completing these, you can submit your verification application. We usually review within 30 days (it may take a bit longer during peak periods, thank you for your understanding).
Tips: Complete the bonus challenges — once your cumulative earnings exceed $50, your review will be fast-tracked (as quick as 10 days).
After verification, you’ll enjoy:
- Higher limits on artworks and shop listings
- Official traffic support and increased exposure
If the button shows “Fully Booked”, keep an eye on the “Next Opening Time” on the page and come back to sign up then~
2.Join Art Contests to Get Invited (Event Track)
We’ll regularly host drawing contests and events with Quick Artist Registration spots as rewards.
For example, our current Butta Redesign Contest is live! Anyone who ranks in the Top 10% will directly receive a fast-track registration slot.
3.Official Platform Invitation
If you already have a solid fanbase or strong influence in your niche, we may proactively invite you and skip the regular steps.
Notice: The Discord “show-us-your-art” channel and the old application form will officially close on July 24. After July 24, those two channels will no longer accept new applications, so please use the new pathways above.
Artists who already applied through those channels will be reviewed as scheduled.
FAQ
Q1. I can’t sign up / I don’t see the "register now". What should I do?
- If you are already a verified artist, there’s no need to apply again.
- If you are an artist based in Mainland China, please refer to this onboarding process.
- Whether the event is open: If the button shows “Coming Soon”, the event hasn’t started yet, and the next opening time will be displayed on the page.
- Whether spots are sold out: “Fully Booked” means all spots for this round are taken
If none of the above apply and you still can’t sign up, contact customer support to create a feedback and we’ll help you check~
Q2. Review process
All reviews are conducted manually. We evaluate the following aspects:
- Review red lines: submissions involving non-original / AI-generated / plagiarized work, pornography or nudity, gore and violence, racial or religious controversy, or political sensitivity will not pass;
- We appreciate work that is: well-structured in form, highly finished, harmonious in color, clean in linework, well-composed, and has personal recognizability;
- Bonus points: a certain level of social media influence / proof of sales on other platforms;
- Compliance with platform rules: guiding transactions off-platform, posting violating remarks, transaction fraud, or abnormal multi-account logins will result in rejection and cancellation of artist eligibility.
Q3. How long until I get a result after applying? Can I track the progress?
After submitting your application:
- Bonus challenge completed → you’ll usually be notified of the result within 10 days.
- Challenge not completed → you’ll usually be notified within 30 days.
If there’s a large backlog of pending reviews, the review time may extend to 60 days. Our team will process it as soon as possible—thank you for your patience!
During review, your artist dashboard will show an “Under review” status; there’s no need to resubmit. Results will be sent via in-app message / email / Creator Center IM.
Q4. What if my application isn’t approved? Can I apply again?
Yes, you can apply again~ If you’re not approved, you’ll receive an in-site message and email stating:
- The reason for rejection
- The next date you can apply
Once that date arrives, you can submit a new application. Please make sure to address the feedback before resubmitting. If you believe the rejection reason is incorrect, you can contact customer support to create a feedback.
Q5. What’s the difference between an artist and a verified artist?
Artist: You can upload artworks and open a shop, and share your profile, artworks, and shop/listings externally. Your followers can follow, like, and start commission inquiries or purchase listings directly from your shared link.
Verified artist:
- You earn the official Verified badge (displayed on your profile, shop, artworks, search results, and homepage recommendation modules).
- Higher limits on the number of artworks and shop listings you can publish.
- Full artist benefits, including listing recommendations and exposure.
Once approved, the system will automatically update your status and send a notification—no extra action needed.
Q6. Can artists take commissions / receive payments? What’s the service fee?
Yes. An artist’s artist dashboard and commission transaction features are identical to those of a verified artist, and the platform service fee is 5% for all artists.
Q7. After completing an order, how do I withdraw my earnings?
Please refer to this article: Linking a Payout Account and Withdrawing.
Q8. Can an artist’s eligibility be revoked?
Yes. Like verified artists, artists must comply with platform rules.
If an account has violations (such as pornographic/violent content, copyright issues, guiding off-platform transactions, abnormal multi-account activity, transaction fraud risks, etc.), the platform reserves the right to revoke artist eligibility; verification reviews will also fail for these reasons.
Please be sure to follow the platform’s content standards and transaction rules.
