A Brief Story of Chrono-Hime
"Tsukuyomi" is a virtual world where hopes and dreams intertwine.
17-year-old Tokyo high school student Iroha Sakayori lives an extremely busy life, constantly exhausted from juggling part-time jobs and her studies every day. Her only solace is watching the livestreams of a popular streamer named Tsukimi Yachiyo. Yachiyo is the administrator of the virtual space "Tsukuyomi." Iroha frequently visits this world where people can live different lives and freely express their creativity, earning a little pocket money to get by through supporting Yachiyo and participating in battle games.
On the way home from school one day, Iroha noticed a utility pole shining with the seven colors of the rainbow. At first, Iroha thought it was a hallucination, but what was even more surprising was that a cute baby was born from the utility pole.
After Iroha confirmed that the incident had truly occurred, Lü Bo, unable to bear abandoning the infant, brought her home, only to watch helplessly as she rapidly grew into a young girl of her own age.
"Are you... Princess Kaguya?"
As she grew up, Kaguya developed a willful and reckless personality. At Kaguya's fervent request, Iroha helped her launch a streaming career at "Tsukuyomi." With Iroha serving as the producer and songwriter, and Kaguya handling the livestreams and vocals, their bond deepened gradually through their collaboration.
However, what they didn't know was that ominous forces were watching intently, plotting to take Kaguya back to the moon...
