Character Feature Is Live! Create and Document Your OC

An OC (Original Character) is your one-of-a-kind creation! They might be the protagonist of a world you've been building in your head for years, or just a quick sketch from a sudden burst of inspiration. Whether you're a longtime OC creator or just starting to dream one up, anyone can have an OC !

One common headache with OCs: all the reference info you've painstakingly put together ends up scattered across notes apps and cloud drives, and it takes forever to dig through it all.

DrawMarket's Characters feature brings it all together in one place, profile info, reference art, and a personal Album, so you can jot things down and pull them up anytime.

When commissioning artists, just send them your characters' link instead of typing out a wall of text every time, they'll get your OC's full setting at a glance. Go create your first character now!

1. Where to Find the Character Feature

Download the DrawMarket app and log in, then tap Me → Characters → Create Character

Characters creation and editing are currently only supported in the app. Web support is in development, stay tuned!

2. How to Use the Character Feature

1. Create a Character

Tap the Characters → Create Character button

2. Edit Profile Info

• Name your OC
• Custom section: Tap "Add" on the right to create your own tags with descriptions, birthday, height, likes, dislikes, personality, worldbuilding, special abilities, species, and more. Add up to 10 tags, each with a name up to 10 characters and a description up to 200 characters
• Add a description: a write-up of your character's traits and backstory
• Cover image: We recommend a clear, full-body, front-facing illustration

3. Tap Done

Once it passes review, it'll go live, and that's it, your Character is complete! You can create up to 20 Characters.

4. Manage Your Albums

Tap Album or Manage Albums to add photo albums to your Characters. You can also add a watermark to uploaded images to protect your original work.

5. Share

Tap the share icon in the top right and copy the link to send to friends, they can view your OC directly through the link.

3. Characters Content Guidelines

1. OCs must be original creations. If based on someone else's design (e.g., redesigns or derivative works), credit the original creator.

2. AI-generated, violent, sexually explicit, or illegal text or images are strictly prohibited.

3. Do not upload real names, contact info, addresses, or other personal information.
