Detailed Guide to Skill & QTE Rotation & Equipment Recommendations

I. Team Overview

This team consists of four characters: Laevatain, Wulfgard, Akekuri, and Ardelia

Laevatain: Main DPS, Core Damage Dealer

Laevatain

Wulfgard: Sub-DPS, responsible for applying Burning status, main source of stack generation

Wulfgard

Akekuri: Support role, responsible for replenishing stacks and recovering SP

Akekuri

Ardelia: Support role, responsible for survivability, damage buffs, and applying the fourth stack of Molten FireArdelia

Core Strategy: Coordinate with teammates to quickly stack four layers of Molten, allowing Laevatain to rapidly activate her Ultimate and deal burst damage.

II. Core Mechanism Analysis

Laevatain Passive "Burning Heart"

Laevatain's Passive Skill "Burning Heart" is the core of the entire team's rotation. When Laevatain's Heavy Attack hits a monster affected by Burning, she absorbs the Burning status from the monster and converts it into her exclusive buff, "Molten Fire." Molten Fire can stack up to 4 times. When a skill is used while Molten Fire is at 4 stacks, she gains a significant amount of Ultimate Energy.

Therefore, our team-building goal is very clear: quickly apply the Scorch status to enemies, allow Laevatain to absorb it via Charged Attacks, and stack four layers of Molten as fast as possible to activate her Ultimate.

III. Character Role and Function

Wolfgard — Main Stack Builder

Wulfgard is the most efficient character for stacking in the early game. After casting her Skill, she can trigger her own QTE, instantly applying 2 stacks of Scorching attachment to the enemy. As the main DPS for stacking, Wulfgard is crucial during the opening phase of the rotation.

Akekuri —— Buff Layer & Sustain

Akekuri's skills can apply the 3rd stack of Scorching attachment to monsters, making her a crucial part of the stacking process. Furthermore, her Ultimate and Chain Skills can restore Skill Points (SP), providing immense help when frequent skill usage is required during Laevatain's Ultimate, thus ensuring the team's sustainability.

Ardelia —— Survival, Damage Boost, and Layer Buffs

Ardelia takes on multiple responsibilities within the team. First, she enhances the team's overall survivability. Second, her QTE can apply the Corrosion effect to monsters, which perfectly triggers Laevatain's Tactical Skill QTE, allowing Laevatain to absorb the Corrosion and gain a 4th stack of Molten Fire. Finally, her Tactical Skill can inflict the Fragile effect on monsters, providing a damage boost for Laevatain's Ultimate.

It can be said that Ardelia is the final piece of the puzzle for triggering four stacks of Molten.

IV. Detailed Explanation of Combat Rotation

Rotation Sequence

Wulfgard Skill → Wulfgard QTE → Akekuri Skill → Laevatain Charged Attack → Ardelia QTE → Laevatain Skill QTE → Laevatain Charged Attack → Ardelia QTE → Ardelia Skill → Laevatain Ultimate

Step-by-Step Guide to

Step 1: Wulfgard casts his Skill, triggering his own QTE. At this moment, the enemy has 2 stacks of Scorching attachment applied. The Molten stack count is 0.

Step 2: Switch to Akekuri and cast her skill to apply the 3rd stack of Scorching. The Molten stack count remains at 0.

Step 3: Switch to Laevatain and use a Charged Attack. Pay attention to the timing: release it only after Akekuri's skill hits. This allows Laevatain's Charged Attack to absorb 3 stacks of the Scorching attachment, granting 3 stacks of Molten.

Step 4: At this point, the monster has no magical attachments on it, satisfying the trigger condition for Ardelia's QTE. After the QTE is triggered, it applies a Corrosion effect to the monster. The Molten stacks remain at 3.

Step 5: The Corrosion effect triggers Laevatain's Skill QTE. Laevatain absorbs the Corrosion to gain the 4th stack of Molten, then unleashes an Enhanced Skill to gain a large amount of Ultimate energy.

Step 6: Before activating the Ultimate, perform another Laevateinn Charged Attack to trigger Ardelia's QTE and apply the Corroded status to the enemy.

Step 7: Use Ardelia's Skill to apply the Fragile effect to the monster.

Step 8: Activate Laevatain's Ultimate to enter the burst damage phase.

Precautions

1. The timing of Laevatain's Heavy Attack is crucial; it must be unleashed after Akekuri's skill hits to ensure it absorbs 3 stacks of Scorching attachment.

2. The trigger condition for Ardelia's QTE is that the monster has no spell attachments on it, so you must wait for Laevatain to finish absorbing the Scorch before it will trigger.

3. Before using your Ultimate, it is recommended to first use Aldera's Skill to apply Vulnerability, which will increase the Ultimate's damage.

6. Weapon Recommendations

For Laevatain's weapon, prioritize her signature weapon. If you don't have it, choose a weapon from the official recommended list.

The official recommended weapon list for Wolf Guard.

For autumn chestnuts, it is recommended to use weapons from the official recommendation list.

For Ardelia, it is recommended to use the signature weapon given from the sign-in event. As a secondary option, choose a weapon from the official recommendation list.

VII. Applicable Scenarios

This team composition is best suited for single-target Bosses that require concentrated burst damage. Once you are proficient with the rotation, the startup speed is very fast, and the damage output is extremely high.

It also performs well against elite enemies, with a smooth rotation and impressive efficiency.

Performance is average when facing multiple small mobs due to limited AoE damage capabilities; it may be necessary to pair with crowd control methods to group enemies.

VIII. Character Replacement Recommendations

If you don't have the Wulfgard, you can consider substituting with other characters capable of applying the Burning effect, but the stacking efficiency will decrease, and the startup speed will be slower.

If you don't have Akekuri, you can substitute her with other characters that restore SP, but your sustainability might be insufficient.

If you don't have Ardelia, you can substitute her with other characters capable of applying Corrosion, but you will need to find another way to make up for the 4th stack of Molten.

IX. Summary

Pros:

1. Fast startup speed, clear loop logic

2. High burst damage, extremely effective against bosses

3. Survival is more stable with Ardelia’s protection

Cons:

Requires some time to practice rotation techniques and relies on synergy between characters

AoE damage capability is average, and there are few alternatives when lacking core characters
